Branding

Isabela Gatuslao, a period film fanatic, a one-time amateur boxing champion, and a fanatic of TV series Breaking Bad, is an independent graphic designer focusing on brand and logo identity. At the early age of 10, she immersed with graphic designing and studied at the Philippine School of Interior Design. Later on, she realized that she wanted to create patterns and work with typefaces. Thus, she turned her passion to profession. Today, she works with corporate and boutique brands including MediCard Philippines, Daphne Osena Paez, National Bookstore wherein she designed the web interface and 70th anniversary logo of the Philippines' largest bookstore chain, and a pro bono design of UNICEF.

Chad Manzano is a Cebu-based illustrator that caters print and apparel designs for musicians and clothing lines. His enthusiasm to create astounding designs for branded tees bestows a mark not just domestically but also internationally. He also manages and creates apparel for an independent brand in Cebu City namely SCARS. Chad loves to watch old animated Hanna Barbera shorts, comics, and Looney Tunes and listens to Japanese music or also known as J-pop or J-rock. Knowing his influences and inspirations, his quirky style impresses a nostalgic touch to his renowned style. Today, ten of the best artists in Cebu are recently collaborating with him.

Motion Graphics

Nico, one of the pioneers of motion design, is a graduate of BFA in Computer Arts from the School of Visual Arts in New York City. In NYC, he garnered awards from several competitions such as winning a drawing competition curated by SVA and the Museum of Modern Art. With the fusion of the traditional Filipino text of Alibata and contemporary graffiti art, his works give an impression of a magnificent Filipino patriotic creativity. His subjects usually deal with urbanity and socio-political using different mediums. He is also the Executive Creative Director of Flux Design Labs, a creative team composed of 3d generalists, designers, and project designers. They are renowned for telling stories through design, imagery and data visualization. In result, they're crafting visual arts into the next level.

Rhafael or better known for just ASEO, a graduate of AB in Multimedia Arts in Asia Pacific College, started his career in 2008 as a designer in BoNa Coffee Company and its divisions Sujivana, Onyx Web Wizards and Freespeech Publications. In 2009, he focused on web designing where he worked for various real estate firms. However, his passion in the art of vector graphics led to his illustration career in the dawn of 2010. Since then, he has been featured in various art sites & multiple magazines such as Advanced Photoshop in Germany, Oracoms The Book of Creations in France and The Imperial college of London Magazine. Currently, he is part of the Designers of Asia and one of the admins of Vector X Vexel PH.

He focuses on HTML 5, CSS 3, User Interface, typography, Semantics, and Web standards. During his free time, he loves to play football. No wonder, he’s becoming the quarterback of the free themes in Wordpress. Because of his passion to build websites with accuracy and affability, his remarkable works that showcase Filipino creativity endowed a great acknowledgment in the Graphics Design Community.
